I am an Assistant Professor in the CSE department at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), where I direct the DataVisards lab. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where I was advised by Alex Endert.

My research interests are in visual analytics (VA), artificial intelligence (AI), and human-computer interaction (HCI), with a focus on catalyzing human-AI collaboration—by building interactive tools and fostering conducive environments that actively enhance the way humans and AI work together.
